Faridabad/Alive News: The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated on 13 april monday in the school premises of DAV Public School NH-3. The festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. The event aimed to highlight the rich heritage and traditions of Punjab while making students aware of the significance of this harvest festival.
A vibrant stall was set up showcasing traditional Punjabi delicacies like refreshing lassi and crispy jalebis. Adding authenticity to the setup, a traditional madhani along with a chhaj was displayed, giving students a glimpse of rural Punjabi lifestyle and food preparation methods.
The celebration came alive with energetic performances of bhangra and gidda. Students dressed in colourful Punjabi attire danced with zeal, spreading joy and festive spirit all around. The rhythmic beats and lively moves captivated the audience.
An engaging Punjabi conversation segment was also presented, where students confidently conversed in Punjabi, highlighting the importance and historical significance of Baisakhi. They spoke about its connection with the harvest season and its religious importance in Sikhism.
