Sarvodaya Hospital drives awareness programme

Faridabad: Sarvodya Hospital and District Legal Service Authority Faridabad organized an awareness programme on the eve of “World Anti Tobacco Day” in its premises here today.
The programme was launched by Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Chairman of the hospital including Mrs. Anshu Gupta, managing director, Mrs. Sarita Gupta, District Judge-family court, Faridabad, Dr. Pankaj, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Faridabad and Mrs. Samprit Kaur, Chief judicial magistrate cum secretary, district legal service authority, Faridabad by lightning.
Meanwhile, senior breath disease specialist, Dr. Pankaj Chhabr addressing to gathering who came to attend the venue said that addicted person of smoking is touched to several major diseases as mouth cancer, breathing, lungs cancer, Ulcer and finally, he left his family to live in mourning forever after life off.
Once again he said that smoking is not beneficial for our body at any circumstances and will have to avoid ourselves from this bad addiction. Approximately, 25 per cent people directly or indirectly use tobacco in which about 30 per cent people start to use tobacco early in 15 year old, moreover women are also not far from this curse today and they are using tobacco in the same manner. During this a play was also displayed, in which the gathering were motivated to quit tobacco as soon as possible.
At the end of the programme the gathering dignitaries vowed to pursue the Anti Tobacco campaign driven by the hospital as well as District Legal Service Authority.
