The Pre-Primary wing of Apeejay School celebrated its annual appreciation day ‘Jazbaa’ at its campus here on Sunday in Sector-15, Faridbad. The event was full of colourful performances and exhibition of talent by the young children. While, Mr. Sushant Kandwal, Assistant Commissioner, Provident Fund, Faridabad was the Chief Guest and Ms. Aastha Bhardwaj, Senior Consultant, Earnst and Young was the Guest of Honour on this occasion. Mrs. S. Samra, Prinicipal of the School, hosted the guests.
Among the main attractions of the programme included the orchestra by 120 children, ‘Symphony’, the dance performance, ‘Orahi’, an English play, ‘Thinkanauts’, Rjasthani folk dance ‘Ghoomar’, and ‘Jazbaa’ – the collective final performance. All the performances were executed by the Children of the Nursery and the KG classes.
Appreciating the motto of Apeejay – ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ – Mr. Kandpal stated that always taking the lead and working relentlessly is the mantra of success and to make the world a better place.
Ms. Astha Bhardwaj, who is also an alumnus of the same School, shared about the principles of life and values given to her within the portals of the School. She also threw some light upon the importance of teachers and parents, spending quality time with the children and how it is helpful to them in further journeys of their lives.
Mrs. M. Puri, Pre-Primary Inchgarge of the school read the Annual Report highlighting the Children’s achievements. About 300 young children participated in the event while their parents and relatives witnessed the event and encouraged them.
