Faridabad/ Alive News: D.C. MODEL SR. SEC. SCHOOL, Sector 9, Faridabad once again had the privilege of organizing an awareness programme on Thursday, April 27, 2017 under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. Jyoti Gupta. The programme is an initiative started by Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP –Crime Branch) Rajesh Chechi who is the founder member of SSF- Safe and Secure Faridabad. The main motive of SSF was to motivate the young nation builders of tomorrow to make a New India, India of our Dreams and call it Golden India. It tries to provide a safe and secure environment.
ACP Rajesh, in his address to the children, appealed the students to join this programme and contribute towards patriotism. It was an interactive session in which he wished that, we as the responsible citizens of our country, should try to inculcate the values of self defense and be over vigilant so that we are able to breathe comfortably in the society.
The stage was shared by Captain Devender singh – founder member of SSF, an active representative of Road Safety organization, Captain Renu Sharma, Captain Gaurav Bhardwaj, Captain Parvesh, Captain Vikas Ahuja and Mr. Rakesh Gupta- Art of living. Mr. H.S. Sharma, PGT – Physical Education was nominated as the school’s captain to put forward the various issues that come to his notice and would forward the same to the SSF. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the school Director Pawan Kumar Gupta and said it was an eye-opening session for everyone and we look forward to have more such sessions.
