Faridabad/ Alive News: A glorious Alumni meet was celebrated with full zest and zeal in DAV Public school NH-3 NIT Faridabad on 8th April 2017. The ex-students from different batches of the school gathered to relive old memories. It was the time and event for the old relationship to be cherished,celebrated and refreshed and foster new ties. The Programme began with DAV anthem in the school playground.
Meanwhile, the principal Jyoti Dahiya welcomed the alumni of the school. She devoting a few lines to the alumni children said “Memories are the treasures that we keep locked deep within the store house of our souls to keep our heart warm, when we are lonely”. And then a friendly handball and volleyball match was played between the alumni and the present students. Everybody enjoyed the special match.
The programme sailed ahead where alumni enjoyed a welcome song and dance performance by the students of the school. After that alumni pent up about their nostalgic memories of school days with sweet emotions. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the school in perking up and paving their way a responsible citizens. The meet ended up with the inspirational words of the principal. The alumni responded with joy,willingness to help and partner in various ways.
