Faridabad/Alive News: To seek the blessings of Maa Saraswati and to commemorate the untold sacrifices of the freedom fighters, children at DAV NH-3, NIT celebrated Basant Panchami & Republic day on 25 th January 2023.(Wednesday) The function began with the Saraswati vandna sang in praise of the Goddess Saraswati.
Students were told about the significance of this day and the Veena hold by the goddess, signifying purity of heart, knowledge and music respectively. Thereafter, little ones of class 2(A)delivered thoughtful speeches on Republic Day. Students of class UKG (A) & (B) a presented a fancy show. Then a dance of class LKG(A)on the track “nanna munna raahi hu” filled with the essence of patriotism. It was indeed a day of joy ,love & respects for the country.
At the end, the school principal Mrs.Jyoti Dahiya gave an appealing speech & told the children to feel pride in being Indian & wished them Happy basant panchami & Republic day.
