Faridabad/Alive News : The Department of Communication and Media Technology of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, in collaboration with Cinemehta Productions, is organizing a three-day Indogma Film Festival, 2022 from November 16 to 18, 2022.
The Chairperson of the Department of Communications and Media Technology, Dr. Pawan Singh informed that this film festival is being organized for the second time by the University. Earlier, the festival was organized by the Department in the year 2018. He informed that Sandeep Marwah, Film Producer, Director, and Founder President of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) and the Chairman of the Miss Earth India Committee will be the chief guest at the inaugural session of the festival. The session was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar.
On this occasion, Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg, Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts and Media Studies Dr. Atul Mishra, and Director of Cinemahta Productions Mr. Chandan Mehta will also be present. The theme song of Indogama will also be launched on the occasion.
On the first day of the film festival, Regional and documentary films will be screened. Feature, Short Films, Animation Films, and Corporate Films will be screened on the second day of the film festival, and the prize distribution program will be organized on the last day on November 18, 2022. In the valedictory session, Dr. Mukesh Gambhir will present the report on Indogama Film Festival. At the end of the program, the Director of Cinemahta Film Production Mr. Chandan Mehta will propose a vote of thanks.
During the film festival, two master classes will be organized for media students. On the first day, the noted writer and director Mr. Ashish Srivastava will give tips on film making to media students. In the second master class, Prof. Vineet Pandey will be the keynote speaker who will interact with the students on the topic of film writing and production. This will be followed by a Q&A session in which renowned Filmmaker and Director Mr. Mike Berry will address the students.
