Faridabad/Alive News: After selecting of the city in smart city, now the Municipal Corporation Faridabad has introduced smartness itself. It is another matter that it has pile of complaints and city’s people encircle to the corporation with their complaints every time, but though the department has decided to function as paperless work. For this, officers of the department are also being smart. Officers are trained to work online, so that they couldn’t face problem while public dealing and the commissioner monitoring to the officers training himself and the state govt. has also sought a report from corporation headquarter about online work.
The state governments, under the Digital India campaign, offices are being stressed at work online, by which officers as well as people could be free from paper burden. Actually, paper works in Municipal Corporation is more, in which death & birth certificates, housing maps including sewer and water connection works are also included. But process to do these works has been started online. Recently, the corporation has done work to pay property tax online and this has been started as a pilot project in Sector-21, through which people will be able to pay their property tax at sitting home.
Report sent to the govt.
Recently report of online work has been sent to the govt., in which court case monetring system, online property tax, work monetring system, e-tendring of roads and sewerage, online volunteer registration system and toll free number are included, and more other works related to the corporation are also being done online.
Mostly work will be based on technology in smart city, people would be free from paper burden and for this officers are being trained so that they could understand online process.
