Faridabad/ Alive News: State level Khadi and Gramodyog exhibition has been held in the Sector-12 Huda ground here on January 30 and would continue till February 17. Several Khadi shoppers have reached in the exhibition the first day.
Glimpse of ‘Make in India’ visible in the exhibition
Actually, our PM Mr. Narendra Modi has appealed to all citizens of the country to buy at least one product made by Khadi and Gramodyog, so that people who has associated with this profession would be encouraged. All products in the exhibition are hand crafted and house usable products could be easily found here in the fair. Through this exhibition woman entrepreneurs would also be promoted. Actually, the exhibition is being installed by Khadi & Gramodyog Ambala and organizer is Khadi gramodyog block Kurukshetra.
Weaver ramp walk in fashion show’
In the 18th days long exhibition a fashion show would be held to promote Khadi made products in which weavers and other instead of models, who play an important role to make the product, would be given the chance to walk on ramp for promoting their products.
During this director B.K Nagar, assistant director Suraj Kumar Mishra, Amar Nath Singh and Banty Sharma were present. Director Nagar said Khadi products are ready to compete with modern time and glimpse of Make in India could be seen in the exhibition. There have been installed 85 stalls in the exhibition and 25 per cent discount has been given on every Khadi products.

Cotton, Woolen, Silk, Khadi garments and Designer Polly, Readymade, Kurta Pajamas, Shirts, Pants, Jackets, Coats, Ties, Ladies Suits, Shawl, Sari, Handkerchiefs, Blankets, Carpets, Curtains, Sheets, Pillow Covers, Towels etc.

Herbal soap, Shampoo, Face wash, Footwear, Leather products, Artificial jewelries, Herbal Powders, Pickles, Marmalades, Honey, Salt, Papad, Amla, Candy, Spices etc.
