Faridabad/ Alive News: The city’s people are suffering from cancer due to environmental exposure, which is causing people with lungs cancer, breast cancer, brain cancer and throat cancer. This information, while sharing with mediapersons Dr Dinesh Ranga, MBBS MD Radiation Oncologist, B.K hospital said on 7th November, on the eve of National cancer awareness day here in the hospital premises.
He said that a programme was held here today, in which the gathered people were told that cancer patients in the city are increasing fastly, which are the main causes Family History, environmental exposure, smoking and toxin and chemical emitting from companies. He further said breast cancer is also increasing rapidly in women. Explaining about identity and precaution of breast cancer, Dr Dinesh Ranga said that many breast cancer symptoms are invisible and not noticeable without a professional screening, but some symptoms can be caught early just by being proactive about your breast health. He said use light pressure to check for lumps near the surface, and firm pressure to explore deeper tissue. Any time you find a new or unusual lump in your breast, have your doctor check it. Most lumps aren’t cancer. Squeeze each nipple gently — if there’s any discharge, see your doctor
