Faridabad/Alive News: Faridabad Model School (Sector-31) has achieved a major milestone in the field of science and innovation. The school’s young students performed exceptionally well in the prestigious INSPIRE Idea Awards 2025–26, proving their creativity and scientific talent. Out of 1,103 innovative ideas submitted from the region, only 60 were selected for the next stage and students from Faridabad Model School proudly secured their spots among the winners.
The INSPIRE-MANAK scheme is a special initiative by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. Its goal is to encourage students from Classes 6 to 12 to think out of the box and create original inventions that can help society. As a reward for their brilliant ideas, each selected student will receive a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 from the government to develop their projects further.
Two students particularly stood out with their unique inventions Vivaan Mehta (Class 10) He designed an innovative Light Therapy Device. This gadget uses special light technology to help reduce stress, improve mood, and boost mental clarity.
Shivam Kumar (Class 12) He created a Smart Rain Detection System using laser technology. His invention can detect the very first drop of rain, which could help farmers protect their crops from sudden weather damage.
The school’s Academic Director, Mrs. Shashi Bala, and Director-Principal, Mr. Umang Malik, congratulated the students on their hard work. They expressed great pride in the students’ success and wished them the best of luck for the upcoming District-Level Exhibition, where they will showcase their working models.
