Faridabad/Alive News: Vasant Utsav 2026 was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by NHPC, India’s 100% renewable energy company, on 22 February 2026 at its Residential Complex in Faridabad. The festival was inaugurated by Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, along with Shikha Gupta, Chairperson of NHPC Mahila Kalyan Samiti. The company celebrates Vasant Utsav every spring to showcase the richness and diversity of Indian culture.
While addressing the gathering, the CMD extended his best wishes and said that the spring season brings new energy, enthusiasm, and hope. He explained that after the cold winter, pleasant weather, blooming flowers, and new leaves remind us that change is a natural part of life and moving forward leads to progress. He also spoke about the organization’s ongoing projects and future plans, adding that the previous year was full of achievements and transformation, with the company meeting and even surpassing many of its targets.
Senior officials, employees, and members of the Mahila Kalyan Samiti were also present at the event.
During the celebration, local artists from Mathura presented folk songs, music, and traditional dances, which captivated the audience. To promote local handicrafts from different states and Union Territories such as Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam, special stalls were set up by NHPC power stations, projects, and regional offices.The festival highlighted India’s cultural diversity while bringing employees and families together in a spirit of celebration and renewal.
