Faridabad/Alive News: Students from the Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, have brought laurels to the institution by performing exceptionally at ‘Sanchar Utsav 3.0,’ a media fest organized by the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh.
The students demonstrated their prowess across various media disciplines, securing a total of three major awards which are First Prize in the ‘Piece to Camera’ (PTC) competition, Second Prize in ‘Press Release Writing’ and Second Prize in the ‘Debate’ competition.
Congratulating the winners, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar stated that this success is a reflection of the students’ hard work, creativity, and practical skills. He emphasized that such competitions expose students to real-world media environments and play a vital role in their professional growth.
Head of the Department, Prof. Pawan Singh, attributed this success to the quality education, hands-on training, and continuous mentorship provided by the department. He praised the students for their dedication and teamwork, encouraging them to maintain this streak of excellence in the future.
The students were guided throughout the event by Assistant Professor Dr. Rahul Arya and Production Assistant Vishal Berwal, whose mentorship was instrumental in this victory.
