DAV School NH-3 Celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab with Devotion and Joy

Faridabad/Alive News: Public School, NH-3, NIT celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab on November 4, 2025 (Tuesday) with great devotion, enthusiasm, and spiritual spirit. The whole school was filled with divine energy and peaceful vibes.

A special assembly was organized to help students understand the importance of the day. The programme began with the recital of the Mool Mantra (Ek Onkar) by Vihaana from UKG (A), creating a calm and positive atmosphere. The tiny tots of LKG explained Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s three main teachings — Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, and Vand Chhako.

The highlight of the celebration was the grand Nagar Kirtan, which beautifully depicted Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings. The Panj Pyare led the procession, symbolizing equality and unity. Students also took part in a Jhadu Jatha, spreading the message of cleanliness and humility. The beats of the drum parade and school band added liveliness and grandeur to the event.

Students dressed in traditional Punjabi attire sang Shabads and performed Kirtan, creating a spiritual and serene environment. The colourful Nagar Kirtan moved around the school campus, spreading the message of peace, love, and brotherhood. The event concluded with Ardas and distribution of Prasad, leaving everyone spiritually enriched.

At the end, Principal Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya blessed the students and said that everyone should always seek God’s blessings and follow the path shown by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. She added that such celebrations teach students the true values of Bhakti and Seva .
