Faridabad/Alive News: DAV NH-3, NIT Public School celebrated Indoor Sports Day on 29 August 2025 in honour of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, marking National Sports Day.
The event began with great enthusiasm as Principal Mrs. Jyoti Dahiya inaugurated the celebration by flying balloons, symbolizing joy, freedom, and the true spirit of sports.
Students performed a lively drill that filled the atmosphere with energy. Various indoor games like carrom, chess, musical chairs, and other fun activities were organized. The children participated with excitement, showing teamwork and sportsmanship.
In her address, Principal Mrs. Dahiya encouraged students to follow the values of discipline, sportsmanship, and dedication, inspired by Major Dhyan Chand’s life.
The day was full of cheer, fun, and fitness, making it a memorable celebration that inspired students to stay active and embrace the spirit of sports in their daily lives.
