Faridabad/Alive News: To mark the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, DAV Public School, Sector 49, took a commendable step towards environmental conservation by organising a large-scale plantation drive within the school campus. The initiative was held in collaboration with SYS Green Club, Paryavaran Sanrakshak, and Swawlamban Trust and was generously supported by Cornitos.
The event aimed to raise awareness about sustainable living and instil a sense of ecological responsibility among the students. A total of 60 native trees were planted, each symbolising hope, commitment, and a greener tomorrow. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, corporate employees, environmental workers, and local residents, all united in their mission to safeguard the planet.
The school premises echoed with energy, enthusiasm, and purpose as the community came together to contribute towards a healthier environment. The event also featured addresses by key speakers who inspired the gathering with their messages of action and awareness.
Mr. Rajan Gautam, Principal of DAV Public School, Sector 49, emphasized the school’s long-standing commitment to holistic education. “Environmental education must begin at an early age. We are proud to create opportunities where our students can lead by example and grow into responsible global citizens,” he said.
