Faridabad/Alive News: The Department of Computer Applications at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has achieved remarkable placement outcomes in the recent years, with leading IT companies, multinational corporations, and tech startups recruiting its graduates for diverse roles in software development, data analytics and IT consulting.
As many as 61 students from the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program of 2022-2024 batch secured internships and placements in renowned multinational companies (MNCs), and in the current placement drive, students of MCA batch has seen an impressive start, with eight secured placements in top IT firms. Also, 13 students from BCA 2022-2025 batch got their selection in Accenture, a global IT and consulting giant. This ongoing success highlights J.C. Bose University’s dedication towards academic excellence and professional growth.
The Chairperson of the Department, Dr. Shilpa Sethi apprised that the success of the department attributed to its rigorous academic curriculum, industry-aligned training programs, and the active involvement of its Placement Cell. Comprehensive initiatives such as aptitude training, technical workshops, and mock interview sessions prepare students to meet the dynamic demands of the IT sector. Prominent recruiters like Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL have shown a strong preference for hiring MCA and BCA graduates from J.C. Bose University. Several students have secured packages ranging from ₹5 LPA to ₹12 LPA, demonstrating their industry-readiness and competence, she added.
Further she apprised that students from the Animation and Multimedia programs have also showcased their creative expertise, earning placements in renowned studios and production houses, as well as emerging as entrepreneurs in the field of digital media.
