JC Bose University conducted Electoral Awareness Program

Faridabad/Alive News : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, conducted an awareness programme on importance of casting the vote ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Additional Deputy Commissioner Sh. Anand Kumar was the Chief Guest of the programme and guest of honour was Sh. Lokesh Kumar, Fitness Model and Sweep Ambassador of Election Commission.
The program was convened by Prof. Vasdev Malhotra, Nadal Officer (Election Activities) with the support provided by office of Dean Student Welfare and NSS Unit of the University. Addressing the program, ADC Anand Kumar asked the first time voters to ensure their participation in the electoral process in the Lok Sabha Elections.Fitness Model Lokesh Kumar encouraged the youth towards electoral participation and importance of casting of vote to uphold the democratic traditions of the country. More than 400 students attended the program.
Dean Student Welfare Prof Munish Vashishth and NSS Coordinator Shri Atma Ram were also present on this occasion. Appreciating the initiative taken for electoral literacy, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar said that it is commendable that the young generation is aware about their rights and understand the importance of right to vote. He said that it is important to encourage student’s participation in democracy building exercise as it is concern to the society and the nation as a whole.
