Faridabad/ Alive News: Road safety is a safety measure which reduces the risk of road accidents. Unfortunately, road accident factors as use of cell-phone or other electronic devices while driving have become common, but in such cases, the traffic rules and regulations help us to keep away from road accidents and injury. Road safety measures are the tools can save us from the expensive traffic fines, serious offences, removal of driving licenses, etc.
In this regard, a workshop based on ‘Road Safety’ was organized on September 6, 2016 by the school Principal, Satyug Darsahn Vidyalaya , Sh. R.K Sharmaji which involved various activities like speeches, Essay Writing, Poster Making & Rangoli Making Competitions, in which the whole school participated enthusiastically.
The dignitaries like Prof. Dr. M.P.Singhi, Nodal Officer, S.H.O. Bhupani & Secretary Faridabad, were also present. Prof. Dr. M.P.Singh addressed the school & highlighted the importance of various traffic rules & road safety parameters at length. The winners of the different events were Essay Writing 1st position Hanumant Gandotra ,Class XII, 2nd position Sonali Malik, Class X B & 3rd position Chaitanya Gera Class X A, Poster Making 1st position Aayush Pathak Class X B, 2nd position, Himanshu Kaushik Class X A ,3rd position Kuldeep Singh Sangwan Class X A Rangoli 1st position Divya Goel Class XII,2nd position Ishita Kohli Class XII, 3rd position Shalini Singh Class XI.. The dignitaries also felicitated the winners of different competitions & motivated them to follow road safety rules for their bright future.
