Faridabad/Alive News: With a view to make the learning experience more powerful and impactful, a visit to Police Station Sector-31 was organized for the students of classes I and II. The students of Faridabad Model School Sector 31 understood the working style of the police. Legal information was also given to the students.
The police officers were glad to welcome the students. They gave the students tour of the station and explained their day-to day working schedule. ASI Geeta explained the uses of various arms and ammunitions, made students visit the prisoner’s cell and explained the working of control room.
Students were informed about appropriate and inappropriate touching and were also advised to speak up whenever they felt uncomfortable. Additionally one of the officers explained the significance of helpline number 112 and adhering to traffic rules, for their own and other people’s safety.
FMS’ curious young minds interacted with the police officers and asked various queries. Their doubts were satisfactorily answered by the able police personnel. At the end, our students were offered refreshment as a token of love and they departed with a happy heart and smiling face.’
