Faridabad/Alive News : DAV NH-3, NIT celebrated World paper bag day on July 12, 2023 (Wednesday) in which children were made aware about the harmful effect of plastic bags on the environment. To create awareness among the young DAVIANS the day was observed through various activities. The little ones of LKG to II made newspaper bags in
different designs with biodegradable materials. The slogan of ‘Say No to plastic bags’ was encouraged as a messaging on these bags. Posters promoting reducing usage of plastic and its harmful effects on the environment were pasted on school notice boards.
All the students participated in this event with full zeal and enthusiasm. Apart from this, different creative slogans were given to promote for less use of plastic. On this occasion, Principal Ms Jyoti Dahiya said, “Through our Paper Bag Day activity, the students were made aware of the things that pollute the environment, so that the students get the right knowledge and become responsible citizens. Such programs organized for the students help us in highlighting their talent”.
