Faridabad/Alive News : A student team of the Mechanical Engineering Department of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has won 3rd prize in a national level project competition for their project prototype titled ‘Sun Tracking Solar Panel using Arduino’ The event was organized by RKG Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad (UP). The project is based on Arduino Controller Board for generating electricity with the help of Solar Cells.
The student team today met the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar. Chairperson of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Arvind Gupta, Prof. Sandeep Grover, Dr Pawan Singh and Project supervisor Dr Bhupender Singh Yadav were also present on this occasion. The project was developed by the students of the 6th Semester namely Ankit Beniwal, Anjali Prasad, Ankit Panwar, Anunay Dixit and Ankit. Dr. Yadav said that the University team won the prize contesting 80 teams from across the country participated in the competition.
Speaking on this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tomar congratulated the team and said that events of such kind provide an opportunity for students to learn about the latest technologies and promotes innovation and creativity among them. The Vice-Chancellor also inquired about the projects showcased by the students.
