JC Bose celebrated National Technology Day

Faridabad/Alive News : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad celebrated National Technology Day with great enthusiasm. The event was sponsored by Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology. The program aimed to commemorate India’s remarkable achievements and contributions to the field of science and technology.
Dr. S.K. Chaturvedi, Director General of the National Council for Cement and Building Materials, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Mr. Rajive Gulati, former Head of Hartron Innovation and Start-up Hub, was the guest of honor. The program was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar, and coordinated by Chairperson of Electronics Engineering Department Prof. Pardeep Dimri.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp followed by welcome address by Dean (FET) Prof. M.L. Aggarwal. The Chief Guest, Dr. S.K. Chaturvedi, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the significance of National Technology Day and the role of technology in shaping our future. He commended the university for its efforts in promoting scientific and technological research and urged the students to pursue innovation and research.

The Guest of Honour, Mr. Rajive Gulati, shared his experiences in promoting start-ups and innovation in the state of Haryana. He emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in the growth of the country’s economy. Speaking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Tomar spoke about the relevance of National Technology Day and its importance in present times. He emphasized the importance of sustainable technology in achieving a cleaner and greener future and the potential of emerging technologies to address environmental challenges.

The event also served as a platform for students to showcase their innovative projects. About 21 projects were displayed during the event including drones, an e-bike, and a Robo stair climber, and 16 posters were presented on various topics including Women’s Safety and Electronic Vehicle Design. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anuradha Pillai.
