21 Policemen taught British Council

Faridabad/ Alive News: Undoubtedly, Faridabad police has become fully smart now. Perhaps, the day is not far off, when the city police will be seen in smart communication along with protection. Actually, a team bearing 21 policemen were taught British council under a programme of ‘Teach India Spoken English’ for three months and they were honoured with certificate by Hanif Qureshi, commissioner of police faridabad in presence of the programme operators as Amarendra Pandey, Gopi Kishan, Swati Sinha and Sudhanshu on December 15.

Actually, the training programme was conducted by Times of India. In the programme which was for three months 21 policemen participated. During this, the policemen were taught about English Language. Meanwhile, they were taught about introduction, tourism and public service ethos including written by the British Council, focuses on the spoken and written English communication skills required in everyday situations in customer services, retail and sales, travel and tourism and financial services. It focuses o grammatical accuracy, fluency, pronunciation and confidence, Introduce themselves appropriately, Greet others politely in person and over the phone, Make and respond to polite requests in professional contexts, Schedule appointments over the phone,  Write and reply to emails, Make and take reservations, Give polite instructions and suggestions to customers,  Guide customers to fill in application forms, Describe their background, Describe ambitions and future plans, Use vocabulary related to jobs and industries.
